Hikvision DS-2CD2646G2-IZS 4MP AcuSense Motorised Varifocal Bullet Camera

A professional IP camera you can zoom from your desk

The Hikvision DS-2CD2646G2-IZS is a 4MP network camera from Hikvision’s Pro series. Its motorised 2.8 to 12mm lens lets you zoom and refocus from the NVR or a web browser after installation, so you can frame a gate, a till or a loading bay exactly without climbing a ladder.

AcuSense uses deep learning to tell people and vehicles apart from everything else. Alarms and searches then focus on what matters, which cuts the false alerts that make people ignore their CCTV.

Low light and bright light

DarkFighter keeps the picture usable in very low light, and 120dB true WDR handles scenes with strong backlight such as a glass shopfront or a gate facing the sun. The body is IP66 for weather and IK10 against vandalism. It takes PoE, so one network cable carries power and video to an NVR such as the Hikvision DS-7104NI-Q1/4P/M. See the Hikvision product page for full specs.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an IP camera?

Yes. It connects over a network cable with PoE, not coaxial cable, and records to an NVR or a microSD card.

Can I zoom after it is mounted?

Yes. The motorised lens zooms and focuses from the NVR, the web interface or the Hik-Connect app.

What is AcuSense?

Hikvision’s deep learning filter that recognises people and vehicles, so alarms ignore rain, leaves and animals.
