Hikvision DS-2CD1347G2H-LIUF/SRB 4MP ColorVu Turret IP Camera

A 4MP IP camera with colour at night

The Hikvision DS-2CD1347G2H-LIUF/SRB is a 4MP network turret camera from Hikvision’s Value series with ColorVu, which keeps the picture in colour after dark. It filters motion into people and vehicles, so you get alerts about visitors rather than every cat on the wall.

A built-in microphone and speaker give you two way audio, and a strobe light can flash to warn someone off. It also has a microSD slot of up to 512GB, so it can keep recording on its own if the network or NVR goes down.

Installation

The camera is rated IP67 and powered over PoE, so one network cable carries both power and data. Pair it with the Hikvision DS-7104NI-Q1/4P/M 4 channel PoE NVR for a simple four camera system. Full details are on the Hikvision product page.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need an NVR?

Not strictly. It can record to a microSD card on its own, but an NVR gives you longer storage and one place to view all cameras.

Can I talk through it?

Yes. It has a built-in microphone and speaker for two way audio.

What does the strobe do?

It flashes when the camera detects a person or vehicle in a zone you set, warning them they are being watched.
