Three-phase protection for critical loads

The SIEL Safepower S 150K is a 150 kVA three-phase online UPS for loads that cannot stop: a data centre or a large industrial load. It is part of our SIEL UPS range, made by SIEL in Italy.

It uses online double conversion (VFI-SS-111 under IEC EN 62040-3), so your equipment runs on clean, regulated power all the time and never sees a switchover gap when KPLC drops out.

High efficiency, lower running costs

A transformer-free design keeps efficiency up to 96.5% in online mode and above 99% in ECO mode. Output power factor is 1, so the full 150 kW is usable. Input power factor is 0.99 with current distortion under 3%, which keeps the load on your generator and wiring light.

Built for growth and redundancy

Up to four units can run in parallel, either to add capacity or to give you a standby unit. A wide input range (208 to 478 Vac, 40 to 70 Hz) handles unstable mains and generator power. A diesel mode input, remote emergency power off and backfeed protection are built in.

For longer backup, we add external battery cabinets sized to your runtime. A frequency converter mode is also available.

Easy to manage

A 7 inch touchscreen shows status and settings in several languages. RS232, RS485, LAN, Modbus, dry contacts and two slots for SNMP or relay cards connect it to your building or IT monitoring.

Safepower S or Safepower Evo HF?

Both are three-phase online systems. The Safepower S runs in parallel up to four units and has a touchscreen interface. The Safepower Evo HF runs in parallel up to eight units and offers a lithium battery option. Compare both under critical and industrial UPS. For single-phase loads up to 10 kVA, the SIEL Greenpoint range is a better fit.

That depends on your load and the battery bank we configure. Send us your load list and the runtime you need, and we will size it.

Does it work with a generator?

Yes. The wide input voltage and frequency range and the diesel mode input are designed for generator-backed sites.

Every three-phase UPS is configured to the site, the load and the backup time, so we quote each order.
