UGREEN Ergonomic Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest LP668

A mouse pad with a soft wrist rest for long days at the desk

If you use a mouse for most of the working day, the edge of the desk presses into the underside of your wrist and your hand bends upwards to reach the mouse. By evening, that shows up as a sore wrist or forearm. The UGREEN LP668 combines a smooth mouse surface with a cushioned memory foam wrist rest, so your wrist has something soft to rest on and stays closer to a straight line with your forearm.

It is part of our mice and keyboards range.

What the LP668 offers

Memory foam wrist rest

The raised wrist rest is filled with memory foam, which gives under pressure and shapes itself to your wrist rather than pushing back like hard rubber. It lifts the heel of your hand slightly, so your wrist doesn’t bend sharply up or rest on the hard desk edge. The rest is built into the pad, so it never slides away from the mouse area.

Smooth fabric surface

The top is a soft, skin-friendly fabric that gives an optical or laser sensor an even texture to track. The pointer moves smoothly and doesn’t jump, which also makes this pad a fix for glass or glossy desks where a mouse struggles on its own.

Non-slip base

The underside is a non-slip PU base that grips the desk. The pad stays in place when you lean on the wrist rest, which is exactly when a cheaper pad would slide.

A compact size

Retailers list the pad at 220 by 245 mm, about 5 mm thick at the mouse area, and around 208 g. That is enough room for normal office mouse movement while still fitting beside a keyboard on a small desk.

Compatibility

The LP668 works with any wired or wireless mouse, whether it uses an optical or laser sensor. It suits compact mice like the Logitech M185 and full-size mice equally well.

Setting it up

Place the pad beside your keyboard on your mouse-hand side, with the wrist rest nearest you. Rest the heel of your hand on the cushion, not the middle of your wrist, and move the mouse with your hand and forearm together. Your elbow should stay close to your side. A wrist rest is for resting between movements, so don’t press down hard on it while you work.

Which colour

We stock the LP668 in Green, Grey and Black, all at the same price and with the same build. Black and Grey suit a corporate office. Green adds some colour to a home desk. The photos show Green. Choose your colour from the options above.

Who it suits

It suits accountants, data clerks, designers, call centre staff and anyone who spends hours on a mouse, as well as people who already feel wrist strain. It is less suited to gamers who sweep the mouse across a wide area, since the pad is compact, and to people who mostly use a trackpad.

How it compares

If you only need a basic surface for tracking, the UGREEN CY016 costs less but has no wrist rest. For a complete ergonomic desk, pair the pad with the Logitech Wave Keys and Lift combo, a wave-shaped keyboard and vertical mouse. Raising your laptop on the UGREEN Metallic Foldable Laptop Stand fixes your neck as well.

Looking after it

Brush off crumbs and dust regularly. To clean the surface, wipe it with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air-dry fully before use. Don’t soak the wrist rest or put it in a washing machine, because water trapped in the foam is slow to dry. Keep drinks away from it. Store it flat so the wrist rest keeps its shape.
