Hikvision DS-2CE12KF3TP-DLS 3K ColorVu Dual Lens 180 Degree Camera

One camera for a whole frontage

The Hikvision DS-2CE12KF3TP-DLS has two lenses that the camera stitches into a single 180 degree image at 3K. Mounted in the middle of a wall, it can see from one corner of a yard to the other, a job that would usually need two cameras and two DVR channels.

Both lenses use Hikvision ColorVu with an F1.0 aperture, so the picture stays in colour at night. True WDR at 130dB balances bright sunlight at a gate against a shaded verandah, which is a common problem with Kenyan shopfronts and compounds.

Installation

It is rated IP67 and uses one coaxial cable. To record the full stitched picture, use a DVR with 3K or 5MP inputs, such as the Hikvision iDS-7208HQHI-M1/XT AcuSense DVR. Full specs are on the Hikvision product page.

Frequently asked questions

Does it use two DVR channels?

No. The camera joins the two images itself and sends one picture over one cable.

Does it work at night?

Yes. The ColorVu lenses keep a colour picture in low light, with white light or infrared up to 40m.

Where does it work best?

On a flat wall facing a wide area, such as a yard, a car park or a row of shop entrances.
