SIEL Greenpoint 2K Online UPS

The SIEL Greenpoint 2K is a single-phase online UPS for equipment that cannot afford to switch off. It is sized for a small server, a network cabinet with a few switches and a firewall, or several workstations. It is part of our SIEL UPS range, made by SIEL in Italy.

Online double conversion means your equipment never runs directly on KPLC power. Incoming power is converted from AC to DC and back to clean AC, so dips, surges and spikes are filtered out before they reach your load. When the grid goes, there is no switchover gap at all.

Why online matters in Kenya

Line-interactive UPS units are fine for a single desktop. For servers and network equipment that have to stay up through brownouts and generator changeovers, you want online. The Greenpoint accepts input from 110 to 300 Vac, so it keeps running on weak or unstable supply without draining its batteries, and it works with generator power.

Built to fit your rack, or stand on its own

The 2K is 2U high and converts between rack and tower, so it can go into a standard 19 inch cabinet or sit on the floor next to your equipment. The front LCD shows load, battery level and input status at a glance.

The batteries are hot-swappable, so you can replace them without shutting down the equipment the UPS protects. For more backup time, add up to four external battery boxes. Tell us how long you need to run and we will size it for you.

Efficient, and easy to monitor

Output power factor is 1, so the 2 kVA rating gives you a full 2 kW of usable power. A selectable high efficiency mode cuts running losses when your supply is stable. RS232, USB, relay contacts and SNMP let your IT team monitor the UPS and shut servers down safely during a long outage. Emergency power off (EPO) is built in.

The Greenpoint range comes in 1K, 2K, 3K, 6K, 10K. If your load is three-phase or above 10 kVA, look at the SIEL Safepower S and Safepower Evo HF systems. Browse all of them under critical and industrial UPS.

How long will it run on battery?

It depends on your load and the number of battery boxes. Send us a list of the equipment you want to protect and we will calculate the backup time.

Will it work with my generator?

Yes. The Greenpoint is generator compatible and handles the voltage swings that come with genset power.
