Apple MacBook Air 13 inch (M2)

The lowest-priced way into a MacBook Air

The MacBook Air with M2 is still one of the best laptops for students and everyday users. It is thin, silent, lasts all day on a charge and runs macOS smoothly. With 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD, it is the most affordable MacBook Air we sell.

It sits in our MacBooks range.

Performance

The M2 chip handles study, office work, browsing, streaming and light photo editing with ease. There is no fan, so it never makes a sound.

One thing to know before you buy: memory and storage cannot be upgraded later. 256GB suits people who keep most files in iCloud, OneDrive or Google Drive.

Screen and connections

The 13.6 inch Liquid Retina display is sharp and bright. You charge it with MagSafe, leaving both Thunderbolt ports free, and there is a headphone jack. Full specifications are on Apple’s MacBook Air (M2) page.
