Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet Gen 3

A business tablet that becomes a laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet Gen 3 is a 13 inch Windows tablet with a detachable ThinkPad keyboard and a kickstand. Take it into a meeting as a tablet, prop it up to present, or clip on the keyboard and work as you would on a laptop.

It sits in our business laptops range and suits executives, field sales staff and anyone who wants the lightest possible Windows device.

The screen

The 13 inch touchscreen runs at 3000 x 2000. The 3:2 shape is taller than a normal laptop screen, which makes it great for reading documents and filling in forms. It works with a ThinkPad pen for notes and signatures.

Performance

The Core i5-8250U has 4 cores and 8 threads. With 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD it handles email, Microsoft 365, browsers and video calls. It is not meant for heavy creative work.

Ports

Two Thunderbolt 3 ports handle charging, displays and docks. There is also a microSD reader and a headphone jack.

Full details are in the Additional information tab below and on Lenovo’s specification page.
